METHOD OF APPLICATION

Preparations

• Ensure that surface is free from dirt and grease.

• It is recommended to sand the substrate especially the laminate if it is smooth.

• Ensure the substrate is smooth and dry.

Mixing of adhesive

• Remove the skin from the top of the adhesive (if any) before application.

• Mix the adhesive properly by wooden stick for making it homogeneous.

• Avoid using exposed adhesive to avoid adhesive failure.

Applying the adhesive

• Spread the adhesive evenly over the substrate in minimum time and then bring them together in close contact with each other by hand pressing.

• Keep the substrate under clamp by forcing nails for minimum of:

a) 8 – 10 hours during hot climate.

b) Minimum 24 hours during winter and monsoon seasons.
